Matoi, design is often that last thing that comes to mind.

This is what a good book would tell you and don’t get us wrong, we agree with it but most of the time when you are working on a comic, you want to express your feelings and your tastes. Sometimes you really liked one game franchise that have a distinctive character design, and you want to incorporate that in your “OC”.
OC comes from the phrase “Original Character”. Now that phrase has an important meaning, it means it must be original. But how you can make something original?
